District 1 Purpose and Focus Provide a centralized platform for collaboration, information sharing, training support, communication, coordination, and professional development among District 1 chiefs and command staff.
District Leadership
GACP District Representatives are elected chiefs who serve as the link between local police departments and the GACP Executive Board. District 1 leadership supports communication, regional coordination, collaboration, and professional development among chiefs and command staff.
District Representative Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between District 1 agencies and the GACP Executive Board
- Communicate statewide updates, initiatives, and directives to district chiefs
- Represent district interests, concerns, and priorities at the state level
- Coordinate district meetings, training opportunities, and collaborative efforts
- Promote information sharing and interagency cooperation across the district
- Support leadership development, mentorship, and professional growth among chiefs and command staff
